Leonardo Mirabal

Executive Director

An expert whip-cracker and performer, Leonardo leads ACM’s vision for an interactive arts program where students can explore Dominican culture through song, art, and dance.

About Leonardo Mirabal

Leonardo grew up within the Mirabal family’s living Carnaval tradition. As Stelvyn Mirabal’s son, he represents the next generation carrying forward the family’s cultural knowledge and ACM’s commitment to Dominican folklore.

Leonardo stepped into the executive director role in 2024 as ACM began a new chapter of leadership. His stated vision expands the association’s work into interactive arts experiences that give students meaningful ways to encounter Dominican culture.

ACM preserves and celebrates Dominican Carnaval through cultural education, artistic presentations, interactive workshops, live performance, and community engagement across Massachusetts.
